In a unexpected crossover event that breaks conventional expectations, the game developer has announced an in-game collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The unusual holiday event continues from November 25 through December 22, providing free extra story content for Shadows players.
Peculiar Adventure Revealed
According to the authorized release, "A strange encounter draws characters Naoe and Yasuke into a new mission, where rumors of forbidden practices and fearsome transformations reverberate through the obscurity." The plot presents a "unusually dressed woman named Ada" who charges the characters with traveling into the Crystal Cave—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her companion from a clandestine cult.
The adventure concentrates on "peculiar experiments and a terrifying adversary" and is accessible to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.
Iconic Locations and Transformations
The teaser highlights the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This important location was formerly where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through generations. The teaser ends with a powerful sequence showing a character, likely the prisoner, morphing into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.
